When the passion dies in their marriage, Angela feels the boredom more than Jonathon. She does not want to get divorced, but she does not want to live an unexciting life. The idea strikes her that if her parents were to die, her and Jonathon would be the beneficiaries of a financial windfall. She just needs to convince her adoring husband that killing two people waiting to die anyway, would not necessarily make them bad people.

Synopsis:
When obsessive FBI Agent Charles Peterson retires, he plans to spend the rest of his life with his wife, Alicia. On the way home from the party, their car is hit and Alicia is killed. Charles and his fellow agents begin to investigate the cause of the accident, crossing paths with the local CIA branch who are investigating a farmer (Sadiski) building a fertilizer bomb to use on American soil. The undercover agent behind the hit-and-run is Kate Brannigan, a no-holds-barred agent who will stop at nothing to capture whoever trained Sadiski. As an agency battle becomes a ruthless engagement, the mission at hand becomes protecting their own rather than saving the world.
