PLANS CHANGE

Plans Change is a play about seven recent college graduates (four guys, three girls) who now have no idea what to do with their lives.

Already bored with their entry level jobs, they are all searching for excitement.  When a condom breaks on Hugh and Rachel, it instantly puts them on the track to plan a wedding.

Realizing this is a chance for excitement- Hugh’s friend, Ston, proposes to his girlfriend who he is only slightly in love with.

A play that asks the questions of: “Is every married man unhappy?”  “Is there a right or wrong time to get married?” “Is love the most important thing?”  “Can friendship survive life?”  “Can life survive love?”

JUST SHY OF CLOSURE

The only thing Ethan has ever wanted in his life is for Elizabeth to notice him. And now, days before she is to be married, she only wants one last date with him. Can both of them put their lives on hold to pretend to know what could have been?

REVIEW: “What with all the contemporary plays about various kinds of sexual and familial dysfunction, it's refreshing to see a playwright attempt a romantic comedy…

Allan has good ideas, some tight and funny runs of dialogue, and four interesting characters.”

SCHISM

A chaotic comedy about the opening night of a college production entitled Perfectly Imperfect You that goes horribly haywire when the actors decide they don’t want to be their characters anymore.

(*Characters are named after the actors playing them, except for the ones playing the [Director] and Matthew Sprosty…)

ELI & KATE

Eli & Kate might have been a great love story; if it didn’t start with Eli kidnapping Kate in the hopes of curing her depression with a case of Stockholm Syndrome.

(CURRENTLY BEING WORKSHOPPED)

ALL’S FAIR

A play about the inner workings of Michael and Alice's mind as they fight over a promotion, survive sexual harassment and toxic masculinity, during the course of one workday.

WHEN BOY MEETS GIRL
(HIGH SCHOOL APPROPRIATE)

A romantic comedy that includes all the proponents of stage diving into Greek Theater, Action, Romance, Comedy, and Drama.

With a style and delivery inspired by Woody Allen's Annie Hall, WHEN BOY MEETS GIRL is a play that dives into the frailty of high school relationships by looking at them through the eyes of the rumor mill. Both characters of Boy and Girl analyze the whys of falling in love at an early age, and the complications that comes with picking a person to go steady with while also juggling an insecure seat in the popularity contest.
